“In the Maze of Our Emotions – The Heart as the Map, the Mind as the Compass”

Details

Our emotional world is vibrant, intense, and can feel like a huge roller coaster.

Our desires, joys, needs, commitments, sorrows, and many other emotions accompany us throughout life, often clashing with each other: I should be home on time, but I still have important tasks; I want to meet my friends, but my child has a school event; I need to relax, but then I might miss business opportunities.

Similarly, we find ourselves in difficult situations when our emotions take on a life of their own: I’m in a relationship, but I’ve fallen for someone else; the person I should care for only angers and repels me; my heart longs for somewhere else than where I am, or I should feel content but satisfaction doesn’t come.

We need an accurate and reliable map, along with a well-functioning compass, to navigate our emotions: let’s find, set, and use them to live a more balanced life!
