The story of Virág

Since the age of 13, I have been interested in Eastern philosophies, particularly yoga. However, it was not until 2009 that I had the opportunity to begin exploring this wonderful science on a practical level. Initially, I practised the asanas, and then I read Selvaran Yesudian’s book, which fundamentally changed my perception of yoga. It was then that I started to realise that yoga is a complete system, where everything is interconnected and it has an incredible impact on both physical and mental health. I experienced the latter myself.

In 2014, I received my yoga teacher certification at the Asram Yoga Teacher Training Centre under the guidance of Zoltán Kádár. This path requires continuous development and learning for me. After the teacher training course, I joined Kádár Zoli’s Dharma programme, of which I am currently a student.

When teaching yoga, my primary concern is to teach how to use our physical body healthily. I consider it very important to learn the correct posture. Yoga asanas become truly effective when we practise the correct posture and pay attention to proper inhalation and exhalation, which should be done exclusively through the nose. During practice, we take into account not only the physical attributes of our body but also our current health and mental state.

After achieving the most precise alignment of the asanas I know, we can start working in flow. We conclude every class with relaxation, which is a perfect complement and conclusion to the physical practice.
It is very important to me that after each yoga session, we can leave the room feeling moved and recharged, in complete satisfaction and harmony with ourselves.
