Nutritional Consultation at Melea – The Health Concept

A healthy lifestyle is becoming increasingly popular these days. Nutrition and exercise are gaining more importance than ever before, and people are living more consciously. In this context, the InBody device available at Melea can be an enormous help. This device not only measures weight like traditional scales, but thanks to bioresonance, it provides a comprehensive picture of our body composition (e.g., fat mass, mineral levels, segmental lean body mass analysis, etc.). By examining the results – our strengths and areas for improvement – our experts can create an individualised programme of nutritional advice and training plans. Besides prevention, it can also assist with certain diseases and uncover risk factors that help in the detection of conditions such as osteoporosis, kidney disease, and circulatory disorders.

After the analysis, a nutritional anamnesis is conducted, during which the nutritionist gains a clearer picture of the individual’s dietary, eating, shopping, and sleeping habits. This is followed by a consultation tailored to the guest’s background knowledge, setting short- and long-term goals to facilitate easier implementation.

Tailored Meal Plan at Melea – The Health Concept

At Melea – The Health Concept, every meal plan is created in collaboration between dieticians and the head chef, ensuring that guests can enjoy the culinary delights of healthy dishes. The foundation for everything is a vegan diet. Naturally, any intolerances or allergies are taken into account in the individual nutrition plan.

Despite the increasing prevalence of healthy eating, the consumption of vegetables, fruits, whole grains, and nuts is still not outstanding or not in the correct proportion. Staying here can be a great help for those who are just starting on this path and trying to replace various types of meat with alternatives.

Since there is not only verbal dietary advice but also the opportunity to gain practical experience, this leaves a stronger impression on the guests through multisensory perception. The third and fourth key support, alongside nutritional advice and meals, is the “Cooking Class” workshop, which is combined with a lecture. During this workshop, under the guidance of our chefs, guests have the opportunity to prepare various dishes using gentle cooking technologies. In addition to cooking, our guests receive information about the health effects of certain ingredients and tips for other preparation methods.

We select the appropriate nutrition plan for the guest in such a way that it initially changes existing habits only minimally. We work on the principle that “many small things make a big difference,” thus achieving the desired overall result.
